Lucia Caminos
The series' first major, non-optional female protagonist. Lucia grew up in Liberty City before ending up in Leonida, where she served time at the Leonida Penitentiary for a crime tied to "fighting for her family." Sharp, loyal, and done playing by the rules.
Jason Duval
An Army veteran who fell in with local drug-runners in the Leonida Keys. Jason grew up in the state and has deep ties to its criminal ecosystem — biker gangs, drug operations, and the hustle of Vice City's underworld.
A criminal love story
Rockstar has framed Lucia and Jason as partners in life and in crime — the narrative centers on their relationship as they try to make it in Leonida. In solo play you can switch between the two (press down on the D-pad in free roam), and heists feature contextual real-time switching between them.
The supporting cast
Beyond the leads, Rockstar has teased a colorful roster of Leonida characters — from social-media hustlers and strip-club figures to conspiracy-obsessed locals — painting a satirical picture of modern Florida.
